With reference to your public notification, we in Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) request you to provide us the opportunity to appear before the honourable members of the select committee for a presentation/submission. Please find the first attached the document PVCHR has circulated to all the honourable members of parliament and has placed it in public domain for necessary inputs. this document has been generated by legal team of RCT through its work with PVCHR in the last four years with victims of torture in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
This document, is a study, highlighting the gaps between the UNCAT and what the present bill offers to the citizens.
